how it started
The founders of the Brian Boru concept has built, owned and operated successful Irish bars for over 25 years in Dublin, Spain, and Norway. They have extensive experience of how bars in Norway operate, as well as how to develop and support a franchise.
The partners saw the potential in offering something authentic and real in Norway. Norwegians love Irish culture and a good Irish pub, and they felt that they could deliver that better than the local Norwegian competition. We set ourselves apart by having a focus on authentic Irish hospitality from the start.
Our concept takes the pub experience to a whole different level of excellence. Unlike other pubs and themed restaurants in Scandinavia, Brian Boru Irish Pubs will consistently deliver an authentic consumer experience. We achieve this by combining authentically accurate interior design with great drink options, food, music, sport, entertainment, and most of all, people. Guests are immersed in another world of warmth, conversation, laughter and fun. What the Irish call ‘the craic’…. real fun!
